The Connected Home event
May 17 2010, Van Nelle Ontwerpfabriek, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
June 21, Living Tomorrow, Brussels, Belgium

In May 2010 the Connected Home Event will take place for the fourth time in a row, with a triptych of seminar discussions, exhibition and networking.

The Connected Home market will develop rapidly in 2010. Consumers increasingly want to use VoIP and advanced entertainment such as IPTV, web and video-on-demand. E-healthe and wellness are new markets with many opportunities. Now the prices of the required products are favorable and the (broadband) connections almost perfect, nothing stands in the way of success.

The channel and retail are facing major choices. There is a large variety in products and no manufacturer can be the sole supplier of content, networks as well as equipment. For you as a retailer, who will be your choice of distributor? How are you going to prepare and train your staff? And, which distributor really offers added value?

During the event, the visitors will learn from speakers from leading companies in the industry how to build a business model around services and products in the Connected Home area. How safe are the systems? Can the elderly live longer independently using Domotics? And how can I protect my house? As multimedia devices are becoming mainstream, more and more media is being downloaded to media players. What are the latest innovations in this area?

The Connected Home Event 2010 gives you an understanding of threats and opportunities and offers a realistic look at this fast-changing market. For you as a professional, this is a not to miss event.
